Preston > Collie IMHO.
In addition to scheduled workouts with quarterbacks David Carr and John Skelton, the Titans worked out wide receiver Austin Collie on Tuesday.
Collie spent three productive years with the Indianapolis Colts, averaging 58 catches from 2009 through 2011. But a series of concussions helped limit Collie to just one game for Indianapolis last season. He was cut by San Francisco at the end of training camp this year.
Meanwhile, former Titans wide receiver Lavelle Hawkins was scheduled to sign with the San Diego Chargers on Tuesday, per colleague Jim Wyatt. Hawkins also spent most of the 2013 training camp with San Francisco before getting cut.
The 27 year-old Hawkins played five years for the Titans, totaling 71 catches for 771 yards and one touchdown.

Most likely Blidi goes on IR unless they do in fact trade Britt. That way they do not risk losing a player to another team and Preston might well be picked up by a needy team.
Somebody already said it.....updating the files! Collie is one hit away from being on life support.
I didn't think Wreh-Wilson's injury was that bad but it would make sense if it were going to be an extensive recovery.
Ugh Jesus Christ, Walter was never going to be a target here.
From Munch's tone, it didn't sound like Blidi's injury was more then a week or 2 and they probably want him available as soon as possible. Personally, I don't want to lose Preston just to bring Rusty up for a few weeks.
David Carr is a great backup...until he has to play. No thank you. Collie, no thank you. I like the guys we have unless someone wants to show me a BETTER player but I'm not seeing it.
Speaking of old titans WR's, Donnie Avery will be here on Sunday in KC red!
I am weary of signing guys too R&R contracts - disguisting
wow I totally forgot bout walter any chance he prodices once healthy
