Mel Kiper's 3 Round Mock

    Kiper is one of the few "draft experts" I like, although he can be wrong alot also.

    Here's what he has the Titans doing in his 3 round mock:
    1st round - Nick Fairley
    2nd round - Ryan Mallett
    3rd round - John Moffitt

    I'd be happy with that. Although, I think we could get Moffitt in the 4th..

    Thoughts?

    I wish I had ESPN INSIDER so I could see the entire 3 round mock, but who actually pays for INSIDER?

    I agree Moffitt in the 4th, best LB in the 3rd.

    Yeah, I agree, take a LB in the 3rd. Any chance Carter from UNC drops to the 3rd?

    Moffitt was a first team all american. As a center prospect he is well worth a 3rd rd pick but as a OG he is not athletic enough to to fit well into our running game where he has to pull in front of the fastest RB in the league.

    I think getting Fairley, Mallett and Moffitt would be a great draft. If Moch was to fall to the 3rd he would be a great pick there.

    FYI great blue north ranks Moffitt the 3rd best center.

    Carter is 45th on their big board.


    Not that they are infallible but they provide a nice guide i think.

    I just don't see Mallett making it to round 2. If Cincy doesn't take a QB in the 1st and if Mallett is there, they'll snatch him up before we even get a chance to take him.

    From what I've seen they don't like him...

    I guess they have Newton, Gabbert, Locker, Ponder, AND Dalton ahead of Mallett. Of course that's all speculation.. but who knows.
