Just asked @Pastapadre on twitter. He's Madden exc friends & video game blogger. He said he'd look into it. (Regarding new LP Field)
75 is still too low. Id say hes more like a 82 right now Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using Tapatalk 2
Madden 13 demo is live on Xbox right now, and will drop on PSN later this afternoon. Early impressions are fairly positive.
Are there still magic linebackers? You know those LB's that can intercept balls from 20 feet high? Throw at the LB's see if they still catch everything.
As much as I like Locker he definitely hasn't played enough too much of a higher rating. Remember a couple years ago they made some changes in the rating system so there is more of a difference between the great, good, and poor players.
2011 QBs: Cam Newton - 89 Andy Dalton - 83 Jake Locker - 75 Christian Ponder - 75 Blaine Gabbert - 74 TJ Yates - 74 Ryan Mallett - 72 2012 QBs: Andrew Luck - 84 RG3 - 83 Brandon Weeden - 74 Ryan Tannehill - 74 Kirk Cousins - 72 Russell Wilson - 70 Brock Osweiler - 69 What kills Locker is his awareness, it's a 54. There's not ONE qb with a lower awareness, rated better than Locker. Awareness is a huge factor to the overall rating of a player, especially a quarterback. Basically, M13 gives Locker all the skills (besides short accuracy).. he just needs playing time. You bump that awareness up to a 70, and Lockers an 80.
