You are correct, Rogers did fall. But I think he is still on his original contract. If Rogers wants more money, he will get it as soon as his contract is up or wants a new one.

I don't think Peyton would make a good coach. Look for him to be in broadcasting when he retires

 

I don't see how they can tie $50 million into one position, doesn't make sense to me. I think Peyton will come back (Addai already said he was throwing it good enough to play week 17).

They're either gonna trade Peyton, Trade Luck, or draft someone else. I don't see both of them coexisting.

#1 picks don't ride the bench, they play. I say they trade Peyton to the Redskins and draft luck, that's my bold prediction.

 

He likes it on the field, not in a booth and I think he would be a great coach and recruiter.

 

I can see Luck telling Indy not to take him. Not only do their uniforms suck but who wants to have to play in a place where they will always compare him to Peyton. Way too big of footsteps to fill.

 

I wonder how courageous Manning is. I would think neck injuries rank right up there with concussions. Both can permanently damage one, sometimes fatally. Is Manning willing to chance that just for a couple more years of playing? I realize that football is his life, but now he has to think about any life. And I wouldn't blame Luck if he did pull an Eli.

 

Who cares about either of these guys? Being the fact that Peyton has consistently been our nemisis and luck possibly our new one... I hope the dolts don't take luck and Peyton isn't the same, oooor they hack Peyton off for luck and luck becomes the next couch. All for whatever's the best for us.
