If your going by just int's, tackles, and deflections then Griffin is a really good player as well!

Face it man there's a reason Verner actually had experts considering him for probowl.

Verner needs to play NB. We need to find a true #2 corner.

    Free-Agents:
    Brent Grimes
    Sam Shields
    Rashean Mathis
    Derek Cox
    Sean Smith
    Aqib Talib
    Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie
    Antoine Cason
    Quentin Jammer

    Draftees:
    Dee Milliner (Top-15)
    Xavier Rhodes (Late 1st)
    Johnthan Banks (Late 1st-Early 2nd)
    Jordan Poyer (Early 2nd)
    Desmond Trufan (2nd)
    David Amerson (2nd)
    Will Davis (2nd)
    Blidi Wreh-Wilson (3rd)

I would love to pickup a FA CB, play them at RCB and Verner at NB. Verner is a FA after next season FYI. We'd have Coty and Campbell as our #4/#5.. so overally solid depth all around.

You go ahead and cherish that lone Pro Bowl vote he got.

Aside from 1 forced fumble tell me what Verner did in 2012

Is this going to be another freaking VY thread, on how bad number 10 is and how much he is going to suck. There is pros and cons on Locker, only played 10 games, switching OC mid season, his accuracy and needing a coach to better teach it. The guy has talent instead of saying how much he sucks, how bout we get a real coach to coach him right. Russel Wilson wasn't NFL ready until a good coach coached him.

Like Chris Palmer said when he got fired - "We live in a microwave society". No one wants to wait for the finished product, people nowadays like instant, so unless you come in and wow people early, they don't believe in you.

There are hundreds of players every year who improve game by game and eventually establish themselves among the elite. Eli Manning, Frank Gore, James Harrison, Wes Welker, Cameron Wake, and hundreds others take what they've learned and then at some point spin it so they're ahead of everyone, and thats the path I see Jake Locker being on. He's got all the goods to make it happen.

Just give him a chance. 11 games this year and a few snaps last year is hardly enough to come to any real conclusion. And I know sometimes you see it early, but most of the time you don't. SenDerrick Marks anyone? How bout Jason McCourty & Vincent Jackson, these guys didn't set the league on fire early on, they hardily looked like they should be in the NFL, but after they had a chance to develop they developed real nicely.
