If he's good enough to play he should play. We need all the wins we can get.
Coulda woulda shoulda, anyone can get knocked out in one play. He has been cleared for contact is they key here. Not , is he still sore.
What this man said.
This isn't a favorable matchup even with Locker. I don't want him to be rushed back. That said, if they are 100% sure he's as ready as he'll be this season, then go ahead and start him.
I highly doubt he's fully ready. And we know Jake... it takes him a while to get a rhythm going.
Agree with Finnegan. Let him come back after the bye week.
Completely disagree with whoever said he would rush Locker back because Munch's job is on the line. His job is no longer on the line imo.
What if we miss the playoffs by 1 game, it's gonna be Munch's ass right? Even though you guys were the one's pushing for Locker to take as much time as possible?
Anyways..No way he plays this week. Locker is like the opposite of McNair in terms of toughness, straight GLASS.
LMFAO @ your jersey under the avatar. WOW.
dude you've got an axe to grind obviously.
The way I see it is if Locker does start, two things need to happen:
2. Locker finish the game without getting hurt
If both of these things do not happen it is a failure that will fall directly on Munchak's shoulders. He is aware of this, I'm sure.
I believe as long as we dont have a second half meltdown, Munch and Co are completely safe.
From a medical standpoint I can tell you if he is cleared for contact, then structurally his hip and knee are sound and able to withstand the abuse of a game. The question will be how well he is able to get up to speed. In my experience, when players are cleared for contact they play. Unless Munch is flat out lying I could see him playing.
