Lions to unveil new uniforms April 20

New Lion looks good. More detailed.

 

Is the helmet white now?

 

Yeah, I don't noticed anything different about their uniform, other than the logo.

I might be in the minority, but I like the Lions uniforms the way they are/were.

I didn't like the Chargers uniform change either. They look too much like an arena football team to me now. The old uniforms looked much tougher than their new ones.

Edit: I just realized that you guys are probably talking about the Chargers. I still don't agree, but I can at least see where you are coming from.

I don't understand that opinion at all. Here are the changes they made:

• added detail to the logo - nothing "arena" about that
• changed the color order of the striping and made it consistent across all elements of the uniform set - again, nothing bush league about that -- quite the opposite
• changed the number font - yeah, they aren't standard block numbers anymore, but loads of NFL teams -- including the Titans -- use a custom number font, so it's hardly an "arena" thing to so

That's all they changed. How can you criticize that?

Eh, its just a difference in taste, I suppose.

I personally don't think powder blue is a tough color.

Yes, I know the Titans have just about the same color, which is why I don't like when they wear their all light blues, either.

And plus, something about the Chargers new helmets look like they were purchased at the local Wal-Mart. They look like cheap plastic.

 

Lions should just paint a big blue L on their helments...
