    I certainly agree with that.

But there's no way anyone can say the interest the Titans have shown in Kapernick or Locker is in any way a smokescreen. They were reported to be spending tons of time watching both guys way back at the Senior Bowl. Teams don't set up smokescreens at the Senior Bowl.

They're not though. If a smokescreen, they're playing it perfect.

Teams know they want a QB... so why not get guys you think a team will trade your pick for? Now if they showed their cards with Mallet, Ponder, or Stanzi- it wouldn't work.
But since it's Locker and Kaepernick... a team just might panic and get them before we pick. Leaving our guy there.

Lord, I hope that's the case at least...

Locker I'm ok with. Not Kaep.

You might be right. I just don't believe it to be the case. I don't think the Titans (or any NFL team) is sophisticated enough to put up a smokescreen that complex (as I said before, this one would date back to the Senior Bowl). I also don't think they have any real reason to.

If they like Locker (or Kaepernick) enough, they will draft him at #8. I think it's that simple. That's why they are taking a long, hard look at both guys.

If we take Locker or Kaepernick at eight, I'm becoming a Lions fan :(.

I don't think he was serious.

No, I'm not serious just suffered through a lot of disappointments with the franchise since the mid 80's with the Oilers.
