Leaving the Dark Side

Just left the darkside today. Got my first MacBook, and got a free iPod touch to go along with it. I doubled the RAM (4GB) and the HDD (320 GB), and it runs absolutely flawlessly.

No buyer's remorse here.

They're giving them away if you're a student and buy a Mac. I got a $300 piece for free. Good deal I'd say.

I love my Mac for high powered applications like ProTools, Photoshop etc. but the file structuring etc.still makes me nuts. If you've grown up on PC I'm sure it makes it even harder..

it had the opposite effect on me

I use the Finder in column view almost exclusively (the Mrs. prefers coverflow for some reason - i like for jpg skimming)

can't see how it could get any easier to sort through stuff.

But seriously, I don't understand what you mean about the file structuring. I'm guessing that there's a button you haven't pushed that makes it suit your tastes.
