But you said it with the utmost certainty as if all players with past injuries get hurt again.

Frank Gore didn't have knee surgeries on both knees in college and tear every ligament in one on those knees. If Lattimore keeps a job as a NFL RB in the next 2-3 yrs, i'll be very surprised.

I hope he proves me wrong, as he is a genuinely great guy. But I don't see it

I really wanted the titans to take Lattimore last year in round 5 or 6 but San Fran took him which I thought was a great fit. Lattimore would of been a 1st round pick if it not for his injuries which were both from nasty hits not fluke injuries like Kenny Britt who tore his ACL trying to turn a corner. Lattimore has heart and I believe he will be a contributing factor this year for the 49ers. James I would take for a 6th rounder but nothing more.

I would've preferred LaMichael James to DexMC.

If the price isn't too high maybe we could trade for him and get rid of Leon Washington...another RB with return skills but James is younger.

One was a free agent. One needs trading. We made the right move.

I'd rather have James over Washington...not James over McCluster

He'll probably end up in Denver or Minny behind AP

Sounds like he could be had for a 6th or 7th...either that or they waive him

James is the type of player that will flourish in a system like the Eagles or Saints.

He just isn't an attractive prospect in Nashville.
