would be a lot nicer to have Randy Moss announce our selection, instead of this scrub/bust of a 1st round pick.

Better lateral play - Moss or Dyson?

It sucks that we took Dyson over Moss...

But the Music City Miracle would've never happened without Dyson... probably because we would've run train on the Bills with Moss. Or better yet, we probably would've been 14-2 with home field advantage and won the Super Bowl.

Hard to give up that awesome moment for anything though.

If McNair had Randy Moss, we may not have even needed to have the MCM.. And No doubt he would have done more than Dyson in that Super Bowl.. With Moss.. Bud may not have died SB winless.

I'd way rather have a Super Bowl win, than a miracle just to make it there, then lose it.

Randy Moss was better than Dyson in every conceivable way.

And even if we did need the MCM to win vs. the Bills.. who's to say that Moss wouldn't have done the exact same thing?

There is a bad side in drafting character over talent. Dyson charactered his way into a 5 year career, with never more than 825 yards in any season.

Randy Moss on the Titans in 1998 would have never happened, as amazing as a receiver as he was, he couldn't run block for crap. Jeff Fisher didn't even learn what a WR was til 2009, no way he wanted Moss back in the day.

Mason did OK for himself as a Titan WR.. I think we just had crappy receivers for most of his tenure.. and the flashes of goodness of Calico, Givens, etc. flamed out with injury. Bennett had an OK career.

check put Pro football reference's "similar players":

Aaron Thomas, Earl Thomas, Jerome Pathon, James Jett, Ray Butler, Reggie Brown, Reggie Williams, Vincent Brisby, Patrick Crayton, Bo Roberson Freddie Scott, Ernest Wilford Ron Brown, Chris Calloway, Howard Twilley, Mario Manningham

Certainly looks like an "all-time great" list. lol.
