Well done JC, I'm out of High Fives so I can't but I would if I could. I'm with you 100% on this. I mentioned this earlier, when KFC was stinking it up Fishbag NEVER EVER even mentioned him having any fault. Yet he has no problem throwing a young stud under the bus to the press. And don't even get me started on Nick F...in' Harper.

Great post and even greater point JC, you killed it.

You raise some good points too. He is the coach afterall so he should have the right to speak out but he should also have the discretion to keep his yap shut and not go outside the house and say those things. That's nobody's business especially not the stupid press that Fishbag can't stand talking to.

Screw Jeff Fisher and his white bread ways. Notice the two stars of our team are NOT "fundamental Jeff Fisher players". Notice all of the players who have saved his butt over the years are NOT his style of players. McNair wasn't the pocket passer Fisher loves, Young sure isn't. Chris Johnson is far from Jeff's typical type of player. Jeff is a moron and you know it, you just don't say it. I'd like to fire him and promote Dinger. Then hang Cecil. Then run Lowery over with my car and back up and do it 12 more times.

You're projecting a whole lot of beliefs and opinions onto Fisher. Considering the fact that he doesn't come out and say any of those things, you're making some big leaps.

Even if you accept some of them, you ignore the massive value that we get from players that most people around here (I think) believe ARE Fisher's fundamental type of player- Roos, Stewart, Finnegan, Mawae, and Bulluck being the best examples.

Chris Johnson has been very, very consistent. Consistent at not showing up, and being better off for it.

I still don't think it was cool for Fishbag to come out and say those things to the press of all people. I understand he's doing it knowing full well that it will get back to Kenny but it was just uncalled for. Inappropriate even.

Why does it seem like the last few years we have seen Fisher continually throw his guys under the bus for miniscule reasons? Remind me why Adams felt the need to re-sign him when he's done nothing to warrant it? Fisher cries more than TO these days.

Boy, if Fisher is a crybaby there are some PROFESSIONAL crybabies on these boards..
A lot of conclusion is made around here using a very little bit of info.

2009 Coach of the year Marvin Lewis publicly calls out players WAY more than Fish does.
I suggest that some of you potential NFL HC candidates submit your resumes to the team. The bump in pay would be worth it alone - and we'd probably win 10 Super Bowls in a row..

It's part of the coach's job to talk to the press. Lots of coaches call out different players at different times, to different degrees. He could be trying to motivate him, or just answering whatever question was asked of him. We have very little context here, but I can see no scenario in which this was inappropriate.

I don't think it helps that it's just a throw in at the end of the Vickerson article.

The way that the Tennesssean quotes Fisher is easily misinterpreted in this case.

I don't like the way that they've been criticising Britt and Cook in general.

'Cook was a disapointment after a stellar pre-season'
    'Britt faded down the stretch'.

Total BS. Cook never got a shot and Britt lost reps once Washington returned.

This time of year is ful of random filler articles that only wind up the fans.
    1 people high five this.
