So his 80 yard TD run (in garbage time in a 51-12 slaughter) that you were bragging about was a means to a W?

You can tell he's an egotistical guy... you know he doesn't care much about winning and losing. If he did, he would've sucked it up and finished the playoff game against the Ravens.

Solid post. But still, I'm talking about when we're down a couple scores, or had a series of things go wrong in a short period of time. You're not going to get off to a fast start 100% of the time. You have to be able to fight back if you're ever going to be a contender. That's what the good teams do.

But to be able to fight back you first have to actually WANT to fight back. And I just don't see the "want to" in this team. Sure you can see it with certain players. But as a whole, the motivation seems to be significantly lacking in those situations.

Dude he couldn't run!!!! He cared so much about winning he knew he had to sit out the biggest game of his career to give his team a chance!

What about against the saints last year, when Nate caught that bomb and got hurt and collapsed on the field. We had no timeouts left and there was only a few seconds remaining. CJ was the only one with the awareness to pick Nate up and drag him off the field so we didn't lose the game from the runoff.
How were stats involved with that?

What person who didn't care about winning would go out of his way to pick up a grown man and drag him off the field? CJ knew he wasn't getting the ball the next play..

lack of leadership, lack of desire. I love how wright brings that passion and Locker needs to step up big time and become a leader if he wants to stick around. I know he said in the past that his leadership is shown on the field but not by inspiration. Well, that needs to change, we need a player like ray lewis, mcnair, george, etc that can come in and pump up guys around them.

If CJ didnt care he would have done his ridiculous dance last week after his 80 yard td. Instead he just dropped the ball and went back to the bench
