If our D holds then we win this game in spite of Jake Locker.
cuz we woulda on without those two tds.....right....I get it.
makes so much sense
Any QB that can actually run a consistent offense would have won us that game today. If you switched QB's and give us Schaub and we win; honestly if you plug in Fitzpatrick instead of Locker and we might win with the way our D played today.
We can start by getting our facts straight. Freeman is a free agent next year you won't have to trade for him.
Can we at least wait until 25% of the season is over before we start trying to decide on our new QB of the future? We have a home game against a lesser defense on sunday let's see how Jake does.
The more likely option would be to draft a QB to come in and compete with Jake and Fitz next year. We are already paying Fitz so i don't think we are paying for another QB.
Talking about Josh Freeman reminds me of how things can change in a very short time.
After the 2010 season Josh Freeman was the best young QB in the history of the league and Raheem Morris the best young coach in the history of the league.Perhaps people were over reacting to a 10-6 season?
We'll see where we're at at the end of the season. If Jake pulls it together then awesome, we have our guy. If not I would rather trade for Cousins or Mallet than pick up Freeman. With Freeman you know you're getting a bum, with the other 2 you don't know exactly what you're getting but they at least look promising.
what about matt flynn ?
not only are the bucs benching him but now they might deactivate him!!! The Bucs are shooting themselves in the foot with this whole situation. They should be 1-2 at minimum considering they had a 15 yard penalty to set the jets up for the gm field goal
