I for one have been on the complaining side of watching Madden draw all over the screen, however I do think he was one of the best game callers any of us have or will see for some time.

IMO John Madden and Pat Summerall were the 2 best football announcers...

 

I'm sure Frank is crying tears, too.

Because, how'd you feel if you lost John Madden, George Bush and all the material they provided in the same calender year.

 

Madden is without a doubt the worst announcer in football history. His constant :grrr::grrr::grrr: licking of Brett Favre was appalling and his stupid expressions and 'commentary' were a travesty to pro football. His stupid 'boom' slogan was something that made me want to take a gun and 'boom' shoot myself and put my ears out of their misery for having to listen to his garbage....and gauge out my eyes for having to look at his fat ,pompous butt on my television all those years.

The only good thing that moron ever did was make Madden video game and now they can take his stupid name off the title and my life will be complete. Thanks for the memory John, you won't be missed...BOOM!

 

It was satire. I was poking fun at all of those posters who jump on a "so and so is retiring or is being cut or is a FA or is trade bait" threads and demand that the Titans sign them. I thought it was pretty obvious, guess not.

 

He still has Charles Barkley and Barak "Uh" Obama

 

He's the moron...and you think he "made" the Madden video games? Irony.

I'm gonnna miss Madden. There was none better. The Madden-Summerall combo was, in my opinion, the best announcing team ever. I dread the coming Sunday nights with Chris Collinsworth. I've never really enjoyed hearing his commentary.
