Contract trouble doesn't change his talent level which I think is through the roof. Plays a skill position, 10/10 would take over our last 10 first round picks besides mariota.

 

Do you think he would be a system fit for the Titans ?

True but a player like that is someone who you build a system around in my opinion just like Mariota is someone on offense you build a system around.

 

No, you build a system around a QB, not a DE.

 

You're missing the point. He's a very good player, but he's a poor fit for our system AND our needs. He could be a very good SAM 3-4 OLB, but we just signed Derrick Morgan to play there...similar players...so why would we have drafted him?

I'll be shocked if he lives up to where he was picked. I expect him to be good-very good. I don't expect him to be GREAT!

I wouldn't take ANY player at #3 if I don't think they'll be GREAT! The only 2 players we took at 3 or higher in the last 10 years I think were Mariota and Vince Young. To me, he's pretty similar to Derrick Morgan.

So are you saying you'd rather have Bosa than Jack Conklin? Where would you play Bosa if you drafted him (or what would you do with Orakpo or Morgan?) and who would be your starting RT right now?
