Like him or not, he's our best option at TE right now

as a receiving TE yes and I want to get him signed to a long term deal

Buuuuut he doesn't play TE bruh. His skill set would be elite if he blocked and played inside like a TE. But he's a split end, basically a large slot guy lol. I don't mind him either. Good target. But doesn't do what a "best option at TE" would do.

Pay the man. Show him some love in the salary department and he will continue to beast on these boys.

Cook made some of the best catches of the season. Not better than the one that Nate made against Detroit but still some bad-ass stuff.

Webster said that they are meeting with Cooks agent over the weekend at the combine...atleast they are trying to make a long term deal.

Yea we kinda need cook anyways. (Not because of the TE talk) but because we will prolly lose britt this next season. Cooks size advantage as a wr over the middle is hard to get.
