Good! I didn't expect him to say anything less but I want to see jake actually compete against someone that is young and talented.
That is a good attitude. I like him as a person a lot, and root for him.. but for some reason I am just pessimistic on him as a QB. I am glad he will probably be on the roster next year. If the rookie QB sucks or gets hurt, I would be somewhat comfortable having him as a fill-in. no more than that, though.
Come on man. This isn't Titans Report. Don't just post a link to start a thread.
Thats about how I feel towards him. Love him as a person, coolest most humble guy around, but if he can't be available for 16 games, whats he good for?
It's funny one of the things I liked most about Jake coming out of college was the fact that he could play through injuries, and now he can't stay on the field. I really like Jake and want him to succeed but I just don't think he can stay healthy. I actually think he will be our starting QB next season, but he will get hurt again.
If we do draft a rookie QB and he comes in and beats Locker for the job then yes I agree... But if Locker out performs the rookie, you have to start Jake.
The best thing that can happen for the Titans is for Locker to come back strong and play 16 games next season.
No rookie is coming in and taking a healthy Jake Locker's job from him.
well, knowing Locker, that should be week 2 or 3.
