I've said it in other related threads, but at this point, it's on Goodell for taking it from stupid to ultimateretardedness.

The NFL owners approved this with video evidence showing what the goal was

RG championed the idea, but we need to get just as upset with the owners of the teams for stuff like this. RG is being paid 30 million dollars a year, to be the scapegoat for doing what the NFL owners want.

The team should all chip in and pay Battle's fine for him. Hell, Danieal Manning should do the honorable thing and volunteer to pay Battle's fine for him.

I hope the team gives Battle a $22k bonus. Give him a little extra for running over a cow.

So basically what the NFL wants is for Jackie to have just given up on the play, right? Because he's not exactly going to juke anyone out of their shoes. What the hell was the guy supposed to do? I see two options:

    1. Get tackled.
    or
    2. Run that fool over.

Our guy made the right choice IMO.

I would absolutely be down for this.

Jake's not a big enough name to draw a fine for that play. Now if it happened to Brady or Horsehead....

We'd need to give it a good name... "Big Hit Love Fund".
