I'm firing up the smoker and doing some cheese and ham-stuffed chicken thighs and a sausage-stuffed pork tenderloin.

    Possible photos to come.

Well not a holiday here but on our holiday, this past Monday did grill up something nice. Got some rib eye steaks and put them through a late 19th century meat grinder. Mixed in some blue cheese and crushed jalapeno peppers along with egg to hold it together and make amazing hamburgers. Grilled medium rare with some grilled bell peppers do go with it.

I have a nice Boston Butt in my freezer that I was going to smoke today but on Sunday when the weather forecast a 70% chance of rain for today, I decided to leave it in there.

Today I have a pork roast in the crockpot with a rub made of mustard powder, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and a heavy coat of brown sugar. Then sprinkled on some soy sauce.

An hour before it's done, I'll add a can of crushed pineapple, then cook for one more hour.
