Levitre should make a dramatic difference in our run blocking, even if he is just 'average: in that dept ... we were WAY below average last year.

Cook has potential, but he never lived up to it ... and I saw him drop a lot of balls that hit him in the hands last year, so ...

Our biggest problem last year was picking up positive yards on 1st/2nd down. Levitre and Greene will give us a big boost there.

On D Babs was so bad that we felt we needed to upgrade over him twice.

This guy obviously doesn't know what he is talking about. Filling your holes is not the same as 'flinging dung at the wall' ... this guy just has no clue about what our holes are

We gained more than we lost, so I see that as a good thing. ...and it is exciting to actually be a player in free agency. I think that is a really good thing for the fans.

However, I do think we tend to get ahead of ourselves. Outside of Levitre, all the guys we got are flawed or unproven. As much as I want all of them to be pro bowlers, not all of these signing will pan out.

They question them because they don't watch us, we let go of the "super star" cook, and we payed Greene 10 mil over three years.

    Personally everything else is moot.

We know walker is not cook. We know Greene is not a top 5 back. However, they fill the hard nosed running role we have horribly been missing.

Is this guy pressing the player selection we made or the money we spent doing it? Or both?
The selections have yet to prove themselves in a Titans uniform, under Titans coaching. We'll know next winter if we paid too much. Personally, we did pay top dollar for some, my opinion.

The guy is a idiot, the only thing i agree is we overpaid a little.
1.wilson ss big upgade 2 ys 4 mil, also pollard 1 year gives us depth.
2,levitre great g & turner ok both started all 16 games last year.
3.walker te great blocker with speed can move all over presnap.Harbaugh loved him.
4 hill huge dt who can collape poket at 330 pds & only 26.
fitz upgrade at backup qb younger & cheaper, can get very hot, perfect fpt bu qb.
the lb from colts coulnt be worse also he is younger like all our fas beside wilson.
now for greene not a bif fan but i did see a stat that he was 13-13 on 3rd & 2 last year so if coverts a dozen 3rd & 3s hes worth the 3 mil a year.

This is typical kind of thing that gets published on various sports sites from now until the season begins. It's all total speculation based on limited knowledge predicting something that we won't know anytime soon.

It's pretty much the same as the "experts" ranking team drafts the day after it ends.

Here's the thing, none of the guys we brought in are 'superstars' ... be we didn't need superstars. We needed role players to fill voids on our team. And that is exactly what we got. Solid football players that know their role on this team, and will make the players around them better.

Did we 'overpay' for some of them? Maybe, that's debatable, but slightly over paying for a few players that will make your team better is better than paying guys that won't impact the team at all.

And this is why the majority of sports writers are complete garbage. The worst part is that a lot of our fans are this stupid and ignorant... ever look at the Titan's Facebook page? The fan stupidity is off the charts.. I'm so glad we have this active forum where we can all keep up do date on everything going on, and discuss stuff.

Okay it's not like it's been an epic or great off season but to say we haven't improved it's crazy. In free agency, contracts are going to be higher no matter the talent level, Shonn Greene shouldn't get that contract but someone was probably going to pay it. We kind of overspent for Levitre but at least he has a great skill in pass blocking.

The problem I have with this is the obvious ignorance of this guy who probably did a quick google search of our team. He thinks Cook is some sort of TE god even though Walker can do so much more than him. Also, we're not that far off from the playoffs. Adding a few key role players is going to be more valuable for a team like us rather than a total rebuilding team like let's say the Jags or Raiders.
