iPhone to Verizon?

If you're on ATT then it does make sense.

I can't use my phone as my mp3 player though. But I want a higher quality media player than iPod or a phone can provide me anyway.

I don't have problems with people choosing iWhatevers if they can support the reasoning.


I almost bought a new Nano due to size and having what I needed in an mp3 player because my Zune HD was stolen. I couldn't pull the trigger though simply due to Zune Pass not being available with iTunes (or something similar). Not sure why iTunes hasn't jumped on that one. So I'm waiting til I can afford another Zune HD instead.

AT&T lost exclusivity in 2010.

I'll definitely consider that. I'm just a big iPod fan. I've had them since they were first released. I haven't had a new one since 2005 (when the video was released and I literally thought it was the best thing known to man).

I hear so many mixed things about the iPhone, so it's hard to know.

And yea, I'd be using the iPhone as a 2 birds; 1 stone deal.

i might get a iphone when my 2 year contract runs out. right now i have the Droid X. getting the iphone 4 wouldnt do much for me.

With restrictions. Pretty much a desperation move by apple. they know they're getting left in the dust so they've gotta try to branch out.

Yes, but they're losing their loyalists. This exposes it to people that haven't had a chance to try iPhone and go "meh..."

Once VZ users learn they've had phones better they've been using and the hype alone wont sell it, they'll start sliding again.


It's a smart move by apple. They'll sell tons at first simply because verizon users have wanted one without knowing why.
