I'm officially on the Jake Locker bandwagon.

It's possible that Ponder and Dalton go in the first round, my bet is it will be late 1st if it happens.

I see four QBs going in the first round: Newton, Gabbert, Locker, and ______. Some team will trade up in the late 1st to pickup a QB.

What pro player does Locker remind you guys of?

    Personally he reminds me of:
    Young Donovan McNabb

    McNabb (Syracuse):
    6'2 223
    4.64 40
    McNabbs Jr/Sr Year Stats combined:
    58% comp, 4622 yards, 42 TDs, 11 INT
    842 R.Yards, 14 TDs

    Locker:
    6'3 231
    4.5 40
    Lockers Jr/Sr Year Stats combined:
    57% comp, 5065 yards, 38 TDs, 20 INT
    773 R. Yards, 13 TDs

I'd say there's probably a 50% chance that Ponder and Dalton go in round 1, based on all the rumors.

If we pick him, I'll jump on on the bandwagon. Until then, if we hold the #8 I hope we draft the BPA. I just don't believe Fairley is worth lower than #15.

I thought the stories of his support of terminally ill youth was nice, but his highlight video showed WAY too many runs for my comfort level. He'll be toast within 3 games if he tries to run like that in the NFL. And his accuracy was suspect in those videos as well. I think the knock on his accuracy is legitimate.

    I'll say this:

If we take Locker at #8 - I'll be ok/happy.
If we take Locker at #13+, and get extra picks - I'll be going nuts.

Time to eat crow. I was wrong, Ponder to the Vikings. I think they are making a big mistake. I'd have taken a dline player. That line is getting old.

Well Locker was fourth on my list of Kaepernick, Dalton, Ponder and Locker but in all honstly I think all of these gusy are pretty close with exception that Keapenrick has the most athetic talent of all of them by a good measure. What is a real shock for me is picking a QB at #8.

Either way as of now I am all for Locker. I'll buy his jersey when it comes out and in the meantime I wil be wishing both him and our team the very best. I hope we get some other good players.
