The loss sucks because we had it in the bag. We just needed the offense to get a first down or the defense to make one last stop. The Texans made the plays to win the game. We didn't.

Overall this team is soooo much better than the last years team. We showed that we can be competitive with one of the top teams in the league. Last year we were not even close to being competitive.

Man we still gonna sit and cry cuz he's got pressure sometime? He misses wide open targets.... Lets just put him in a freaking bubble and never blame him for his inability to hit a moving target. Ever.

Slants? Throw them out the game plan.

    Square ins? Out the window.

Any horizontal man beater, just forget about it.

Kid is the most nervous qb in the league and all he's really needs to do is play catch and he can't even do that. Way too many negative plays. And I'm sorry, the play calling screams that the coaches wanna just lock his ass in the closet and never let him out.

Im not crying about anything, but it sure sounds like you are.

Russel Wilson and Robert Griffin are also getting blitzed a lot right now and neither of them are really stepping up. Are they terrible QB's too?

Face the reality of it, the pass blocking is very suspect having Rob Turner and Chance Warmack in the middle together. As run blockers theyre as good a pair as you'll find, but there's a lot they're missing on passing plays. Any QB will tell you pressure up the middle is the worst, and thats on you linemen.

Yes it would be nice for Jake to step up, Im on record saying he needs to, but to give up on a growing QB, are you stupid? Point to 1 single QB we can get to play for us today and Ill listen.

Jake Locker is the best QB for this team at this time.

Uhm, Wright was excellent. You're right about Vern. Locker did look a bit shaky, in his defense, our Oline was not doing much to inspire confidence. Overall, the team is much improved. If we play this well in EVERY game, I see us in a fight at the end of the season not only for the division title, but in the playoffs as well. I, like all of us, have our issues with yesterdays game, but overall I am very pleased with what I am seeing. Andy remember, Warmack is still a baby. He went against some badass Dlinemen yesterday.

If you honestly believe he's the best for the team, no qb is gonna satisfy you that I say. I'd be willing to say we have a more capable qb as a backup.... It's just that simple.

If locker can fix the mistakes and nervous issues, fine, but all I see is a qb that is has limited passing ability.

We played against two of the most attacking defenses in the first two weeks. Did he do terribly? No. But he also didnt instill any confidence.

He can be ridiculously flashy... But consistent???

Three years and he still looks like this... Yea I've seen some improvements but not enough.

Not enough starts, O line, any other excuses... Battered QB syndrome?

I've been very pro- locker. I would have drafted him. But I'm not seeing it anymore. Like I said if he turns it on... Amazing. Ill eat crow

And yes I know we won't be benching him anytime soon....

Point out any living person in the world whos better for us that we can actually acquire, please tell me.

It's time some of you man-up and take this game for what its worth. Its only 1 loss, to a great team thats spanked us in recent memory. Be happy we showed a lot of toughness, its progress, and a good learning tool.

I said fitz would be better. The backup has a higher likability to run this offense more successfully. You don't have to handicap the play calling with him. Sorry. Sad but true.

Fitz is here for if Jake gets hurt, he's not playing, and thankfully.

You do not want Fitz playing, he's not the QB you wish he was.
