I'm down to two quarterbacks. Mallet and Stanzi. Thoughts?

Out of the 6 QBs at the Senior Bowl Stanzi was by far the worst. I don't see why people would want him, unless its in or after round 4.

There's no way Mallett makes it to the 2nd round. He's already had 2 visits with the Dolphins and I don't see him getting past them. He's got that Dan Marino calibur arm and I think he's a good fit there. But he's still my#1 QB in this draft.

This is funny right here. Nobody wants anyone in the 4th round, that's how they got to the 4th round. If our future QB comes from the 4th round, we should all move to Detroit and killing ourselves.

Have you actually seen the guy play?

Not sure what we're supposed to show you...? His clips look better than any other qb in this class. His leadership/clutch ability is more proven than any other qb in this class. He's improved significantly every season... he's probably the hardest working QB in this class.
And that's why he's compared to Brady. Clutch, hard working, and slept on. For who knows what reason.

(2009 season, by the way... he's improved on everything since)

Show me the QB that has all the tools he does in this draft class. You can knock his arm-strength but that's the dumbest attribute to base a QB on anyway- as time has shown over and over again. Arm-strength is the 40 yard dash of NFL prospects... sure, it's great to have- it's just rarely an absolute need compared to things like pocket awareness, accuracy, touch, vision, etc... all things that Stanzi has in his arsenal.

I don't care if people dislike Stanzi.. that's fine. But don't dare talk up any other QB in this class if you do. Not one is as good other than Ponder. Locker may end up being, but as of now, not even he in my opinion is as good a prospect.

For the guy that said Stanzi was the worst QB at the Senior Bowl- uhh.... the entire time leading up to the senior bowl he was said to have been the most impressive QB at the practices. So not sure what you're talking about.

Watch the above video. The way he drops passes in to his WRs arms or delivers them perfectly on the run, leading his receivers... give me that any day over some guy that can throw 80 yards but can't hit a WR in motion. (Mallet, Cam Newton, Gabbert, etc)

The Brady comparisons are pretty simple though-

Almost same build, same mechanics, same style, same poise, same number, same QB coach... and I guarantee you the Patriots will draft him if he's there in the 3rd and make everyone look stupid for passing on him.

There is nothing wrong with the way he talks. He has an edge to him that I like. He comes off like Rivers but less cry baby. More like he might cut you after the game. J/k... maybe....

I think the fans would embrace a guy that is passionate with a bit of an attitude. He has all the ability in the world to be a starter in the league. I doubt he falls into the second but if he does I would take him in a minute.

I like the way Mallett talks. He's a very confident/c0cky type of guy. Like Tim Tebow, minus Jesus.

Tim Tebow talks normal. Though I hate him.

Mallet talks like your typical trailer-park eminem fan.

"yeah shawty, weez tryin' ta score 6s n sh*t"

He's that kid you see all the black people laughing at at the mall trying too hard to be "down".

I don't particularly care if he sounds hood or not, but is there anything between his ears? I know there's something in his nose, but what about the guys intellectual level, is he as dumb as I think he is?

And how can you hate Tim Tebow? I hope not because Florida beat your team....

He sounds very uh... special when he speaks. I know some dudes sound "wigga"ish, but still sound smart. He doesn't.

He is from Arkansas though... so it's hard to say. They all talk like that.
