ok vy homer number 2...what has vy proven in this league??? ok he won rookie of the year...ok...cool. that proves what???

when someone throws more INT then touchdowns...doesnt that mean they know how to do nothing else then throw ints? because they do that more.

vy does think he is the greatest of all time. he feels that he is entitled to a starting job in the nfl. that is why he thinks he is the greatest. you dont see matt lienart saying i should start because i went to usc. no, he has been benched because of warners play. and what did he do this offseason?? he is busting his :grrr::grrr::grrr: to play better. all vy is doing is talking...that is wrong.

i hope that i get a better response from you this time...but i know its not true.

That he was the best rookie football player in 2006.

The statement "Vince knows how to do nothing besides throw ints" is not true.

Vince has 22 career passing touchdowns. 4900 career passing yards. 10 rushing touchdowns. 970 career rushing yards. He's also lost 6 fumbles, out of 24!

If Vince only knew how to throw INTs he wouldn't have any of the other stats.

Find a VY quote that says anything along what you suggest. I'm not sure Vince can even say the word entitled.

I didn't realize you follow Vince around all day.

So, since last season ended, you don't think Vince has thrown a pass? Or lifted a weight? or talked to a coach? or looked at a playbook?

Make better posts if you want better responses. I'm just calling you out on your straight VY hate.
    2 people high five this.

Where has Vince said it's all about him? All i keep hearing him say is he is ready to play. He want's to be out there with his teammates and fans. You guys are taking things too literal. That's like me saying "My Titans are playing today" Then everyone says it's not your team. That childish remark is what you guys are doing.

Might want to get a better rebuttal than just Vince Young homer. It makes me want to disregard all of your argument. None of that has anything to do with why the media is talking about him so much. He had 1 interview with the 360, they just happen to be chopping it up to make the drama last longer. Also you might want to take a grammar class because half the time you are not making any sense.

I doubt Vince is as dumb as you guys make him look. Remember he went to Texas univ. To get a athletic schol. you must maintain a 2.0 gpa also while he's playing for them.

I really have NO interest in getting into a discussion about how smart Vince Young may or may not be, but really, that's a terrible thing to defend him with. Mostly because you made several groups of words which aren't sentences, but also because it's ridiculous to argue that someone is smart because they can maintain the academic minimum at a state school with the entire support system that they have behind them. They have people who tutor them, people who check to make sure that they're going to class, people who check to make sure that they're doing papers, and possibly even people doing papers or work for them. If you can't meet the bare minimum requirements in that scenario, then you really can be called dumb.

Dude, slang is slang. "Git r dun" is not any more intellectual than "playing ball" or saying "wuz up." Don't be such a rac...ok moving along.

Some of you guys really do take this whole VY thing to a personal level and I've been saying that for the longest.

Just wait until the guy can get on the field and he'll settle everything there, one way or another.

"how many people that speak "ebonics" would you consider intelligent?"

Really, lack of grammar skills is not indicative of intelligence level. He is a product of his environment, as we all are. One the other hand, I can testify that at least four athletes that I had taught or my friends taught, had baby sitters all through college who made sure they got out of bed, went to class, did their homework-or had someone do it, and whatever else needed to be done in order for them to maintain their minimum GPA. These babysitters were professors, students, and members of the athletic department. It would be eye-opening I'm sure if we were to be enlightened on just how many so-called 'student athletes' are doing little more than going through the motions.
