CJ has played well enough that someone would definitely trade for him. Since his contract is steep, you probably couldn't get more than a 6th or 7th for him.

If only the same could be said for Michelle Whiffin.

    I'm sorry, but that's ridiculous. A 6th or 7th? lol

    Ummm... no it's not.

You are just assuming I'm being a CJ hater when I say this... But I want us to keep him.

I say that we could probably only get a 6th or 7th for him because it's true. You realize that the team that trades for him would be taking over his contract, right? That's why he's not worth much. After the 2009 season, we could have received a 1st round pick and then some for him... because his contract was nothing.

What do you think teams would trade for Vick?... Absolutely nothing is the correct answer. No one would give up even a 7th round pick to take over that bum's contract.

    Not that it really matters

But I have been pretty impressed with CJ the past few months. Not only is he playing better, but he is even communicating better as far as twitter goes. He is not just attacking all of his 'haters' and lumping everyone in.

He is actually getting pretty good at it.

You don't think that has anything to do with the fact that we pretty much have one of the worst o-lines in a while? We basically need 7 guys to block 5, and half the time those blocks don't hold anyway.

Anybody that wants CJ cut or traded is clueless! We have nobody at all to replace him. So cut CJ and use our first pick in the draft to replace him when we have so many other needs?

If we had a starting nfl caliber back behind him it would be worth looking at but we don't even have a good #2 right now. That's one area of the team that we don't have a need so stop being stupid!

    Draft needs..

    Safety-Babs is horrible

CB-Upgrade to Verner who moves to NB and upgrades that position.

O-line. Big time inside and maybe even later an OT for long term.

DT-need one more big body there.

OLB-If Ayers os going to rush the passer more we need another guy to play SAM.
