NO. It is the Rusty way. He would rather look pubescent than look like a kid. I don't blame him.

Rusty won't do well this year, but we will see a lot of improvement from him. The season is over, but our role of showing up and supporting guys who won't give up like Rusty and Michael Griffin is not.

To be honest, I am wary. As much as I wanted to see him get a shot this year, I figured sitting out a year and learning would be good for him. He's not going to come in right away and outduel a guy like Matt Schaub. And it would be ridiculous to expect him to. However, you see the preparation he is putting in already.

He's at his best when the line gives him time. If they do, I think he will put up solid numbers Sunday. If he's running for his life, it could end up disastrous.

I'm liking Rusty a lot. But I'm not a VY hater or Collins hater, I just think Rusty might really be a spark this team needs. Hell I'd be happy if he only threw the bal 15 to 30 times a game. This is CJ team and he's the face of the Titans.

Most teams from here on out I'd say are going to try to take CJ away and make Rusty beat them. I like our WR to help out Rusty and beat the one on ones...

You mean GoT? haha yeah, you might be barking up the wrong tree, holmes - I suspect he would do just fine...

With Vince on IR it sure sounds like someone may be pining away for Collins..

I'd GLADLY take Collins in a week if Rusty does poorly vs the weak Texans pass defense.

I was under the impression Collins is returning as soon as injury allows?

The longer we can do without Kerry Collins the better. If Rusty comes in and does well, I'm going to have a **** fit when I see Kerry playing. I'd rather have a box of footballs C.J. can get carries from, then see Collins playing. He certainly gives us the best chance to lose. Rusty, please, please please don't fuq this up.

I have an uncle named Rusty Smith! I say we get behind Opie Taylor. We have no choice, do we?
