I applaud you Eric Winston

Basically called out the fans for cheering because Matt Cassel got hurt.

Just because you're a season ticket or PSL holder does not give you the right to applaud an injury to a player.

I read about that yesterday, was awesome of him to say

Oh, you have the right. Shouldn't have done it but they have the right. What would you do if Michelle Griffin went down? I would applaud loudly, for my chance to see his backup play instead.

Cassel sucks, and he's set the Chiefs back years. Won't comment on them cheering, but they're even more of a disappointment than we are.

I think we often joke about some players getting hurt however, if he actually went down I wouldn't cheer.

I'll freely admit, when he went down yesterday I had a smirk on my face.

The clip I saw got cut off as soon as it showed the back up QB starting to warm up, maybe the cheers were directed at the big gain by Jamal Charles on the play Cassel got hurt?

Sure they were. Of course.
And the fans made their frustration with the FO's choice very evident. And Winston gave this crap even more publicity.. Congrats Winston. If not for him I'd never know exactly how fed up the fans were. I can't blame them.

If anyone knows the pain of having a failed "franchise saving" QB, it's us.

Ok I think it is pretty low class to applaud injury, HOWEVER, the pompous attitude by ESPN talking heads has completely soured me on this issue.

I'm sure there is some Chiefs fan that is spending 5% of his entire income on seats and concessions to support the Chiefs. Meanwhile Cassel is making tens of millions to do this "job". GTFover it millionaire players.

Last I checked, without the fans, you don't make your tens of millions over 4 years.
