Not a bad idea, but even though I lost respect for Fisher what if Adams brings in an outsider like Denver did and decided he wants to win a super bowl with his players and not Fisher's?

I'm all for replacing Fisher but not at the expense of the new guy coming in and cleaning house.

If he is unreasonable about the money then he is gone. Chris is a huge asset but I'm sure definitely not worth the bank in their eyes. At least I haven't seen anyone yet that they believe is priceless.

The question, I suppose, is who (and what) would we be getting for him?

I am pretty uneducated when it comes to trade value. I don't understand it. I seem to over-value everyone, no matter who.

It would take an asbolute load of high draft picks and/or top notch players for me to be somewhat okay with it. If we got an elite QB out of it which is pretty much impossible, then I wouldn't mind... assuming we could also bring in a solid runner.

And if, for some reason, we end up trading him he must leave the AFC entirely.

I'd be utterly shocked. A very good RB, 1st round pick, maybe it happens. Think like Amard Bradshaw, DeAngelo Williams, someone on that caliber. I'd be beside myself if it did happen though.

For the same reasons would anyone break the bank to trade for a RB with so much mileage on him.

You go to buy a 2nd hand car and see a nice 3year old one with 6 years mileage on it you usually walk away.

If we could get AP, Frank Gore, or someone else of their caliber/style I would like it to happen, they fit the offense much better. I really don't see it happening though.

True, but CJ's like a Porche when most of the other backs in the league are like Lincolns. I hope we use Ringer as more of a complementary to CJ and not so much as a backup. Fisher/Dinger are bound and determined to run CJ into the ground with the way the play calling has been so far. Ridiculous. We have one of the best talents in the league and we don't know how to use him properly. Then again, we let Harper start at corner for what seemed like 25 years.

If Cj is a porsche, VY needs to be a Volvo.

I would be very surprised but i guess it depends how we do this season. No playoffs, and if cj's demands are ridiculous we might consider an enormous offer.
