Just out of curiosity where do you get the idea he's not showing heart or has a bad work ethic? He's working out with the team during the VOLUNTARY workouts.

From the Fish's mouth: (the LenDale is 260lb article btw)

Do you have any articles or anything about how he's lazy and unmotivated?

hell, I have a feeling we'll take one in the mid rounds
    no later than the 4th
and I haven't abandoned trading for Turner
    or re-signing Brown
    or signing Dillon

1 of the 4 will still happen imo

I wonder how close all the rumors are of his weight. I don't know, all I want to hear is he's at his weight by camp. I think there's reason for concern, but I'm not all too worried about that.

He average 4.0 even. It's not anything special. I've seen many backup rb's have large ypc's, and his wasn't.

He had probably one of the best college o-lines ever. I watched a lot of his runs from highlights and a few games I recorded, and he was obviously helped by huge holes from good blocking.

I see him as a guy with a decent burst, quick feet, pile moving ability, not much top end speed, not much wiggle, and not going to evade a lot of tacklers. Great is not the word that pops in my head, but hopefully we'll see good. And as our situation is now (assuming no Turner), I'd be fine with drafting a backup fairly high and letting Lendale show what he's about this year.

  4. well i think that Lendale is a lot faster and quicker than Eddie was and i think that hes better at this stage than eddie was

Lendale is going to be a BEAST!!!! Take it to the bank. The kid has done nothing wrong and we have all these nay sayers about him, and all these concerns with weight and work ethic. Calm down, and trust that he kept Reggie on the bench for a reason, and the only real concern that we should have at this point is his durability. I can remember that he missed a game or two b/c of a hang nail, and a head cold. But serious, his health and durability is the MAJOR concern here, not his weight and work ethic. So can we chill out on the fat lard *****', and the Burger boy references and start projecting some positive vibes onto our young players and give them a chance to be the future.

He's going to be a really good RB. Hopefully he will prove that this year.

    Here is one from pre-draft:

The guy has carried a "doughboy" rep since the draft. A motivated player would have attacked his body fat percentage- it would only help. In the NFL, that level of motivation is common among the league's best. I'm betting LenDale couldn't go more than 15-20 carries a game and won't last more than 5 games before an injury.

 you linked the same Yahoo article I did that stated he's taking advantage of every opportunity presented to workout and be in condition (it's at the bottom of the page). He started out slow and dropped because of a hamstring. Pre-Titans he can be lazy as he wants to be, but as a Titan he's been working hard. That's over a year.

If Fisher isn't worried about his weight, because he does set a weight limit, then he'd be gone like Nash (RIP) last year, then why should the fans? Fisher even praised White for working out. He's a pudgy back, I'll give you that, but looks don't make football players.
