When I got done watching the NFL Network Replay of the Titans/Indy game tonight, I checked to see what else the NFL Network had ONDemand. Well, they had the 2003 playoff game vs the Ravens as a Game of the Week.

There are some interesting similarities between the two games. Check it out...

    2003 vs Ravens

    Streak: 5 Losses vs Ravens

    Final Score: 20-17

Final Play: 46 yd FG by Gary Anderson with 00:26 left

    2006 vs Colts

    Streak: 7 losses vs Colts

    Final Score 20-17

Final Play: 60 yd FG by Rob Bironas with 00:12 left

In 2003 you have what is perhaps the last great game by the "original" Titans, and now in 2006 you have perhaps the first great game by the "new" Titans.

I just thought it was interesting.

The Giants game was the first great game. (OK, we were only great for one quarter.) But yeah, it brings back memories, and you all know we're going straight back up to the top with Vince at the helm.

I loved our game against the Eagles... Garcia is a formidable QB (even though I at first thought he sucked hes damn good on second glance) and we ripped tham apart... that game is when I saw the new Titans bloom if you will (bit girly but meh....)

Heck, we have made a complete turn around this year. We were one of the worst teams in the NFL looking at a possible number 1 pick and now we are as good as a lower level playoff team and IMO we are only a few players away (or coaching decisions away) from being in the top 1/3 IMO.

If we can find better play from one safety spot and LDE our defense looks pretty good. Offensively we are better than most give us credit for and VY is improving with each game.

My kingdom for a Blaine Bishop clone at Safety, also throw in a healthy Givens, more improvement from WR corps, Troupe to finally become what he was drafted to be, also I think Dwight Freeney would look really good in columbia blue.:grrhee:
