    Bring it back to the original weekend, hell, bring it up another week or two. Make it a one day event again, miss the days of getting up and watching it all day with pizza boxes everywhere.

    Yes, I hate it. Hated the whole idea from the get-go. The wait until the draft was already grueling enough as it was.

    If they plan on dragging it out, why not add another round or two? After 7 rounds teams are scrambling to sign undrafted free agents and with the depth of this year's draft, I'm sure at least one more round would do every team some good. You could even make the round like 32 compensatory picks, in that you can't trade your picks in the last round.

    The 32 compensatory picks are basically an 8th round spread over 5 rounds

    Yeah, if you average it out the draft has enough picks for more than 8 per team.

    I do not want to see it longer. After that many picks I have no problem with the UFA process. If you wanted a guy bad enough you could have taken him in the 6th or 7th.
