I'd actually tend to agree with you on that. But at the end of the day you judge by what was not what could have been.

    I disagree.
I saw the look on his face that he gave Fisher when he was disallowed to take back that playoff game vs the Patriots.
I judge him by his ability and not his handcuffs.

Fans bashed Bennett for that game-losing dropped pass. Both McNair and I blamed Fisher for putting us there to begin with.

McNair easily should have had the handcuffs taken off after the Super Bowl. It possibly could have extended his career.

Don't get me wrong, I loved the guy. I just think we Titan fans tend to overrate him for the reasons I gave. And it's understandable. It was really tough not to get emotionally attached to the guy. He literally gave it his all on the field and was a super nice guy off the field.

Can't argue with the numbers. In that era, it was the best - because no teams were airing it out quite like that.

But the Broncos set single season records for yards, touchdowns, and points, so... Yea. I side with the numbers.

Find me a defense aside from the 2013 Seahawks that would've held that offense to 8 points in the Super Bowl. 2000 Ravens? Lol please. They would've stopped Moreno, and Peyton would've carved them up.

2013 Seahawks were the first defense to lead the league in yards allowed, points allowed, and takeaways since the 1985 Bears. Let that settle if you don't think they were THAT good.

One year being elite with an entire career of average seasons = average.

    Nice post though, RSB.

You don't blame Steckel and Dinger (R.I.P.) for that?

eh I can't agree with this.

Would be like saying Tyrone Calico is the best Wide Receiver we ever had if not for the injuries.

A lot of people don't include 1960-1997 as Titan history
