Posted by ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky JACKSONVILLE -- The Jaguars are fortunate to be within a touchdown of the Bills at halftime, and they could have easily been closer.
David Garrard's pick in the end zone just before the half was a bad one. Mike Walker may have run the wrong route, but Garrard sure looked bad as corner Terrence McGee stayed in front of Walker at the pylon at the front right corner of the end zone and killed the Jags' chance to pull to 10-6 or pull even.
Buffalo is 4-of-7 on third down and has a 6-minute edge in time of possession thanks to two scoring drives that each took 7:00.
With the temperature over 90 degrees and the Jags wearing dark tops, the Bills' work so far could pay off late in wearing down the defense. Tackle John Henderson already wasn't on the field much, if at all, in the last defensive series. Jacksonville equipment men are holding shades over players when they get their rests on the bench.
On the other side of the ball, the Jags can't run. Garrard has 20 of the 27 rushing yards at the half.
