NFL such a joke. I've been getting less interested the last 2 years tbh. There was absolutely no other option for Griffin in the way he hit the WR. WR was trying to get low like a *****, but good ole' Griff got low right there with him. No ****ing idea how that was a flag.

Whats funny, is after the guy clearly got KTFO and was snoring arms up, he came back into the game lol. They must have one hell of a medical staff in mexico 2.0

And yes RTH, losing consciousness usually means the guy is gonna fumble. That was all Griff.

Griff is getting fined. Not a question.

Does Sio Moore get fined for putting one on Fitz's chin on the first drive?

The league will fine him, but it wasn't an illegal hit. Griffin went low and led with his arms, it just so happened the WR also went low. What was Griffin suppose to do? That hit forced an imcomplete pass, no hit and that's a big gain for the Raiders.

I really don't see the justification in fines like this. When guys are moving up and down, in a split second, no way to miss a moving target like the helmet. Besides, he clearly hit him shoulder first then pushed off with his right arm/shoulder. Obvious attempt at hit, not head to head collision. He did what a safety was supposed to do. He separated the receiver from the ball. I have not been too happy with whiffin the last couple of years, but if he gets fined I would gladly contribute to help pay it. Perhaps that would spark some better play from all.

Either way, fined or not fined, I am so proud of Griffin for taking that dude to the woodshed. He definitely was trying to avoid a hit to the head though, no doubt!

The expectation in today's game is to not hit him. If you want to stop that pass, you hit him below the shoulders when he is on his feet... or you cover him better ... or you get to the quarterback.

I don't agree, but that is the game. Accept it. It isn't going to change.

Ofcourse not, don't be daft. Fitz just a backup, not a big name starter. I was shocked they even flagged the guy.

Griff has plenty of money, he can afford a few big hits.
