I think Bud flipping the bird is a good idea. But would it be legal to use his likeness? I wouldn't think so but I'm hardly a lawyer.

"A Pretty Real Good Forum" is far and away the best verbiage put forth so far IMO.

A caricature of Bud isn't a potential legal issue unless you print his name on it. It's just an old man in a blue suit.
Real Pretty Good would be great if VY was still here - but alas he is not. Thankfully.

I think it would still work even though VY isn't here anymore. It's become more of a generic running joke at this point anyway than it is necessarily a VY reference. I have a feeling it will continue to be said around here for years and years to come. Also it's a joke that most(/all) frequent forum visitors would get.
