Gase to Dolphins

Look at their offense this year though. Mediocre.

 

But he was not the Broncos OC this year

 

No doubt they had a lot of talent, and having Peyton makes like for any OC easier, but to not give him any credit for that wouldn't be right. He deserves at least some credit for having what may be the best offense in the history of the NFL.

No other coach has gotten that kinda production out of a Manning led offense.

I'm not saying Gase is the next best thing, and in no way would I have wanted to give him that much power as a head coach. I'm glad we didn't get him for that very reason, but to discredit what he did as a coordinator is short sighted in my opinion.

You are right,we should not discount him just because of the talent.

 

Right, but regardless of that, he meshed with Gase a hell of a lot better than he did with Kubiak.

The Peyton collapse happened mid season last year, and the Broncos offense remained solid for the most part. And their defense wasn't nearly as dominant then either.

Gase has proven to make QBs better, and that includes Peyton.

 

That Broncos Seahawks superbowl tho...
