Fullback scheduled to visit Titans Friday

    Former Seahawks fullback Michael Robinson is scheduled to visit the Titans on Friday, according to a source.

    Robinson, signed as a free agent by the Seahawks in 2010, was due to make $2.5 million in 2013, before he was released.

    Robinson played from 2006-09 with the 49ers. He’s played in 103 career games.

    The Titans currently have fullback Quinn Johnson on the roster, but he missed practice on Thursday with a quad injury. The team also has fullback Collin Mooney on the practice squad.

    Good. It's about time we got a real FB in here. Although what's the point of having Mooney on the PS if you're going to bring a guy in off the street?

    He's not a top tier FB (probably somewhere in the top 10), but he's a hell of a leader. The entire Seahawks team and fanbase loved him. He was mainly cut due to the Seahawks needing to save cap space this year for next year, when they'll have to re-sign quite a few players coming off rookie deals.

    I think he'd be a great addition to the Titans offense.
