    Reese will get a real nice deal to be GM for another organization.
    IMO we have about a 50/50 chance of this not working out good for us. Hopefully we can sign an experienced GM who will not miss a beat but I was satisfied with the job Reese had done. If I was a GM looking for a job I would sure love to get on with an organization that has had the drafts we have had lately and the CAP room we will have.

    Not sure how I feel about this, but at least it's quick and we can get someone else in with plenty of time to prep for the draft...

    Not without possibility. Full control was given to Saban in Miami. The only problem is you have a person being the "heavy" by negotiating contracts of players, then having to coach them. Underwood may assume part of that.

    I totally agree and thats a very good point, it would have to be extremely difficult for the players having to negotiate their contracts with head coach, then step out onto the field and have him as their coach...so we definitly need to have someone else do that and im not really seeing any real good GMs around to fill the void...hopefully this whole thing isnt a really bad situation...:hmm:

    Titans press conference now. Some highlights...

    Fisher will not be given GM duties.

    Was not a power struggle between Reese and Fisher.

    Decision came from Adams.

    Didn't seem to get very far into negotiations with Reese at any point for a new contract.

    No candidates mentioned but the new GM would handle the same duties.

    Expects to have long-term deal with Fisher at some point.

    Reese indicated to Underwood he was unappreciated this morning.

    New GM will have to be previous GM or assistant elsewhere.

    Should have a list of candidates as early as next week.
