First Practice of 2014

    We finally have some actual news to talk about instead of endless mock drafts and debates about the team.

    -Locker took part in individual drills
    -WR Justin Hunter has been beefed up this off-season. He weighs 208 pounds now compared to 193 last year.
    -DT Casey is down from 305 to 290, sets goal at 18 sacks.
    -Morgan and Wimbley expected to play multiple positions in front 7.
    -Levitre, Schwenke, and Ayers didn't practice due to injury.

    I'm really hyped for Hunter this year. He had his moments last season, and gaining all that weight is great. I thought he looked undersized last season.

    guessing casey is now at DE. Levitre, schwenke, and ayers are STILL injured?

    Surprised to hear Casey is at 290, might put him at DE with Morgan moving to OLB? Honestly pieces will move around a lot.

    Good to hear Locker was dropping back and doing more individual work than some expected he would at this point. Sounds like he's ahead of schedule.

    I've suspected he is going to DE in the 3-4 and remaining at DT when we are in 4-3. The idea of him being a NT was always pretty silly.
