    Thanks for posting that. Titans fans got to like reading how Mariota is well above the typical QB rookie with his reads and feel in the pocket.

    This was a bit concerning:
    In Chance Warmack and Taylor Lewan, the team has two key pieces in place. Lewan has really struggled during his second season, but his talent suggests he will develop into a quality starter eventually. Warmack has gone through his growing pains and is now an impressive right guard. Jeremiah Poutasi is a rookie playing alongside Warmack at right tackle, but he hasn't impressed to this point. Byron Bell and Brian Schwenke are placeholders who will ultimately need to be replaced.

    Not to change this from a Mariota thread but I too thought Lewan was struggling. This article doesn't mention the penalties but he's had the most on the OL this year if memory serves.

    yea Lewan has been a big disappointment. All that talk and he hasn't backed it up yet.

    If Lewan wasn't as entertaining as he has been off the field and w/ the media, I think majority of the people would still hate that pick just as much as the day he was drafted.

    I don't think anyone can honestly say that MM hasn't been impressive. What's even more impressive is he's doing all of this while Kenny the Retard Whiz is driving the unicycle.

    Yeah @SalmonSlayer do not let a few goofs lead you to believe we are all down on Mariota. Most of us have the same line of thinking you do.

    I know, most on here are positive and see the ceiling is higher than the backup. It's a long season, he will have his ups and downs, but I like his progress

    Lewan has a shoulder injury. Maybe that's contributing to his poor play.

    What's disappointing is the Titans invested heavily in the line and have really gotten nothing to show for it. Although, I think Lewan is good, just underperforming at the moment.
