Economy Car

well the drive a clunker into the dirt plan ain't for me either - lol

I wasn't considering it an economy car. I was giving Hyundai's new line props and used that as an example.

haha I didn't know what price range he's looking for. A cheap car that gets good gas mileage? Dodge neon. You can buy it in place of a combo from McDonalds... not the worst choice.

Do they even make the Neon anymore?

Let you know how I like the Elantra once it comes in. They don't stay on the lots very long, so most having to wait for them to come in.

Still waiting for it to come in. They called to let me know a white one came in and wanted to know if I would want it instead of black. Told him I would talk to the wife and get back to him...call back 15 minutes later to say they had already sold it.

As much of a douche move as that was, don't rush just to get the car. Wait for the color you really want.

It wasn't a douche move at all. I probably "told" it wrong. Black was one of my colors I was fine with (although keeping it clean will be tough) but I told him if any other colors show up to call. He called and told me they would be calling other customers as well to let them know what was coming in but he wanted to offer me first.
