    The QB class is weak this year. Maybe they think they can rook someone. With an asking price like that you know they are not trying to catch a pike. Nope, they are dragging the bottom of the lake hoping to hook a sucker.

    They start with the price at a 1st rnder and then will drop the price to a 2nd or 3rd rnder. I bet they find a willing trade partner.

    It always amazes me people's perspective on draft picks and trades. Foles was a 3rd round pick. Point being when you select a guy in the 3rd round, find out he can play especially at QB with a reaonable amount of apptitude and also has some upside (the kid has potential) so he is OBVIOUSLY worth a pick sooner. If he was worth a 3rd when he was pretty much a mystery he is worth a 2nd now. The article put it pretty plainly however and Alex Smith and Matt Flynn are other possibilities so the main thing is to go with the guy you think is going to be the best fit. Reed knows as much about Foles as anybody so if he rally thinks the kid can be a solid QB down the road you don't flinch for a second giving up a pick. Now the problem is the Chiefs pick at the top of the draft so their 2nd round pick is almost as valuable as a 1st. So maybe I work a deal were the Eagles give back the value difference of a mid 2nd rounder or something. Still, if Reed thinks Foles is the real deal you don't even let that stand in your way. Go get him.
