This is my first post, and I thought I never would post because I like to read other people opinions. Yet I was curious if any one heard what former titan, Drew Bennett said about Vince Young?

I won't quote entirely but it was something to the effect of VY having all the ability in the world but not having the mental capacity to be a NFL QB.

Now I believe you can criticize a players ability based on facts! But when you say that a man doesn't have the "mental capacity" to play football, I think you're crossing the line! As a man,I don't think its respectful to tell another man basically that you're not smart enough to do this. Or for that matter a women.

Who the hell are you to say such!

You can debate all day whether KC or VY have the ability based on their performance to start or play. Yet to say either aren't equipped with the mental capacity to play is just insulting!

You never attack a real man like that!

    Just my piece!

    Go Titans!!

The truth is, to be an NFL QB you need to be smart... Have you seen any of VY's interviews? He doesn't seem very intelligent to me. Or maybe he just talks that way to throw us off?

Yeah, I just saw that. I actually agree with you.

Perhaps, Drew Bennett has some kind insight having played with VY but I kind of doubt it.

It's not like stupid people are inevitably stupid. If Vince put the time and effort to it, he could learn the game, just like anyone else...

VY is 0-5 on passing and has 1 interception. Yet he said in the post game interview after the New England game, "I Think I did ok".

Now, if he really thinks having no completions and throwing an interception is "ok", I don't want him as my QB.

He's being put into garbage time situations running garbage time plays, can't really base ANYTHING off that. But Keep on hating..

under the situation, yes he did ok...he even showed us that he still has the legs when he came in to "mop up" against the Colts.

the kid wasnt even throwing the ball after the half. he gets thrown to the wolves and do you honestly think hes gonna get a good effort from the rest of his offense when we're down 59-0? or 31-9?

so yes, I agree that he did "ok" if you look at the situations

There have been a lot of QB's who have been put into garbage games who made things happen and then went on to be the starter. VY clearly cannot do that.
