    Is tearing it up on the Colts while we gave Hawkins an extension. Just sayin'.

    Donnie Avery - 12 for 148, 1td

    Titan's Top Receivers:

    Damian Williams - 9 for 78
    Jared Cook - 7 for 87
    Nate Washington - 4 for 73, 1td
    Lavelle Hawkins - 2 for 8

    Granted, you need someone competent to pass you the ball and an offense that can stay on the field... but man, they extend Hawkins and let Avery (obviously a capable starter) go?

    Edit: There's also the Finnegan thing...

    Also, I wouldn't say Donnie is actually lighting it up just yet.

    Let's wait until mid season before we rush to judgement.

    Donnie had what 3 catches on 7 targets all of last year for us? Hawkins was better last year, so he got to stay. But Donnie is definitely better.

    Avery would have 0 catches on the Titans right now. I get the point of this thread but whatever, it's not the answer to our problems.

    So after 1 bad game Locker is now incompetent?? Seems like after last week everyone thought Locker played a good game. short term memory I guess.

    Luck is a better passer than locker after 2 games in the league. Locker had a full college career and a year to get up to nfl caliber. But I don't think that really shocks anyone. Sure, Locker will throw less picks, but also throughout these two games, he has only been able to finish two drives. If locker doesn't show some promise within a few more weeks, I'll be begging for hasselbeck.
    Obviously the pats and SD are not the world beaters we made them appear to be.
