Does anyone else think Peyton's arm looks weak?

    That's the thing that kills me about ESPN. They show me all these fancy graphs, charts, and computer modules to prove that Manning hasn't lost anything when I see with my own two eyes that his passes aren't near as crisp as they once were.

    Now, will Manning be good this year? Yes and probably the next year too. But he's lost velocity. That's a fact

    He's 36, had 4 neck surgeries and just sat out a whole season...a weaker arm is pretty much expected lol.

    I absolutely did, I think it's obvious. Those seam patterns and deep outs had didn't have the usual mustard on them. Also, he threw like three wounded ducks... wobbly passes are definitely not the norm for him.

    They were talking about this on PTI the other day ... both guys brushed it off like it was just dumb fans or something. I really don't think anyone on ESPN the games they talk about. Either that or Peyton is part owner of ESPN

    This is what I said in this thread on the first page:


    Peyton has never had the cannon arm that some QBs have, regardless of his current struggles. They would likely have had to throw a 70 yard bomb... I'm assuming this rookie backup has the cannon arm to do it, whereas Peyton never would've been able to do that anyways.

    You are right, Peyton never had a cannon, IIRC he had a "laser rocket arm" ... haha
