Displaced Titan Fans?

    Any displaced Titan fans on the board? If so, where is everyone from, and how did you become a Titan fan?

    For me, I'm from West Virginia originally, be have lived in North Carolina for my entire high school and adult life.

    My grandpa was born in Cleveland and a life-long Browns fan ... so, he didn't watch much football at all. haha My grandma was a life-long Steelers fan, and I never watched as a kid. I would ask her how the games went and how the Steelers looked this season, but I never really sat down to watch or take interest in the games. Around 13 or 14, I had just recently moved to NC, so I had no real connection with the Panthers, but was getting more interested in the NFL, and was trying to figure out which team I liked. It was 1999, so new Titans were just taking foot in their new stadium, they had the fresh new logo and new team getting fielded, so it felt like a natural fit ... coupled with the rich Steelers-Oilers history, so I could have a rivalry with my grandma. haha With the team being a perennial 8-8 team prior, I didn't feel like a bandwagon fan jumping aboard ... and I favor stout defense and a running game over a high-scoring finesse game, so it was a lock, for me. Grabbed a hold on the blue, and never looked back.

    I'm from Toronto area in Canada.

    Back when the Titans first became a team I became a fan. My buddy grew up around football so we'd always play madden. When Titans came around I liked the logo and colours so I picked them.

    Been a loyal fan since.

    Grew up around nashville and was a big Titans fan from the beginning. Moved away to indy for a job offer right after college.

    Grew up in Waverly, TN
    College in Murfreesboro, TN
    Worked in Nashville, lived in Antioch
    Been living 20 miles north of Cincinnati past 6.5 years

    Didn't really have a team... when we got the Tennessee Oilers, I was interested. Went full fan when they announced the new name and all - JUST prior to the miraculous season.

    I'm in Connecticut

    Was a casual Broncos fan pre Titans era, then my dad told me to watch out for the Titans one year so I did and fell in love with a team I felt could be my own
