It’s crazy how people like to argue just for the sake of arguing.
Ten_Titans is right. That article states that CJ averaged 9.3 yards after catch (YAC). It’s actually 9.5 if you divide 401 yards by 42 catches. I’m not sure where the 9.3 came from.
Per the article, that ranks 5th among all NFL players in 2013. Not just RBs. That does not include any number from 2009.
I’m not sure where all this criticism on CJ’s receiving skills came from. 42 receptions on 52 targets for 345 yards and 4 TDs sounds pretty good to me. I’ll take that from a 1,000 yard running back any day. Especially during a “bad” year. I have to agree with TWW that our coaching staff did not utilize him to his full potential. 52 Targets is low.
I’m excited about Dexter, but if you guys are expecting more production out of him than what CJ gave us as a dual threat, you might be disappointed. Hopefully I’m wrong.
I predict Dex will have 4 TD. If he is our go to return man then he might get 5.
I predict anyone with pulse can have better production than CJ2lay.
wwow as I was reading this that 5 hour energy commercial comes on and right when I read keep his eye on the ball so did the commercial that was freaking insane maaaaan
yea I never understood the knock on his receiving always seemed solid enough to me
McCluster....A great addition...Looking to see a very productive year... Dare I say it..Playoff?
This guy may not have the speed that cj1yd used to have, but from what I have seen in the highlight videos of this guy (once that link ends click on some of his other highlight vids)..... He is a much better all around player than cj1yd ever was. I, for one, am excited to see this kid play.
Just think of the havoc him and Kendall create in the underneath routes..... you know, unintentional pic plays and such. Then Justin and Nate over the top...... Cannot wait.
Oh he is a big upgrade on just based on the fact he is also a good receiver.
I still remember watching Dexter when he destroyed UT's defense years ago.
I thought his last name was kinda funny, just because it made me think of clusterf*ck, so I called him McClusterf*ck.... not because he's a bad player, far from it, just cracking jokes, and all, especially at the guy named Devito. But that's more of an inside joke with my family... XD
