DEFENSE: No attention to detail..

Interesting...not surprising though. Our D absolutely underachieved for the past two seasons IMO...

I think it's disturbing that he would put Chris Hope in an awkward position like that.

 

It is pretty obvious the Titans defense has had a definite lack of attention to detail.
Our defense can't tackle, can't run effective blitzes, can't cover guys. Those are fundamental issues.

 

Babbin got abused at the all-pro game as well, went balls to the wall after the QB, like Washburn taught him, and they just went into the hole he vacated for the TD.

 

..duh, how many times this season did you see our ends ALWAYS crash in? I don't think I ever saw them stay home, EVER. Constantly offsides and constantly overpursuing.. this was a no brainer.

 

So that explains why Reynaldo Hill, Lamont Thompson and Nick Harper had ZERO awareness as to where the ball was and were always picked on. They always kept their eyes on their man and never looked for the ball. You could throw all our DBs in there not that you mention it.

 

how many times did we have to witness the titans defense make 2 stops on first and second down only to give up 11 yards on 3rd and 10 - consistently this happened over and over and over ... swartz is def missed
